The Schist Peak is a 1650 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises up in the Saint Johns Range on the watershed between the Willis Glacier and the Packard Glacier .
Participants in a 1959 to 1960 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named it after the English name for the mica schist from which the mountain is made.
