Carl Cohen

Carl Cohen (* 1931) is an American philosopher. From 1955 he was a philosophy professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor , Michigan , USA .

Life

Cohen mainly publishes on moral philosophy and political philosophy . He occurs against positive discrimination ( English Affirmative Action ).

He was a member of the medical faculty of the University of Michigan, as well as an active member of the local philosophy faculty since 1955.
