Carl von Linden

Carl (also Karl ) Theodor Friedrich Freiherr von Linden (born November 30, 1801 in Wetzlar , † January 18, 1870 in Ludwigsburg ) was a nobleman from Württemberg .

Karl von Linden came from the noble family Linden and was a son of Franz Josef Ignaz von Linden and brother of the lawyers Joseph von Linden and the military Ludwig von Linden .

He attended the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium in Stuttgart. From March 11, 1852, he headed the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg as government director with the title of district president.

From 1851 to 1853 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates as a representative of the Knighthood of the Black Forest District , in 1853 he was appointed for life as a member of the First Chamber.
