Carl Friedrich Lotze

Carl Friedrich Lotze (born May 20, 1837 in Liebenau ; † after 1903) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Lotze was brought up in boarding houses in which there were private schools. He then became a farmer on his father's estate and learned agriculture on the Zehista manor near Pirna . Then he was employed for 27 years in various areas of Saxony as administrator and inspector of large estates. He later owned a manor in Silesia until 1886 and was co-owner of the Lotze brothers, Borna lime distillery and mortar works Dresden from 1889 . He was also head of office, estate manager, registrar and district councilor.

From 1893 to 1903 Lotze, who is to be classified as anti-Semitic, was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 8 Pirna , Sebnitz and the German Reform Party . In particular, the Pirna loyal to the Reich , a strictly conservative party, repeatedly and decisively advocated Lotze and his mandate with an appeal from its member and respected industrialist Hugo von Hoesch . This was declared invalid on July 9, 1899, but he was re-elected on September 26, 1899.
