Carl Gottlob von Hopffgarten

Carl Gottlob von Hopffgarten , also Hopfgarten , († July 19, 1765 in Naumburg (Saale) ) was a German cathedral dean , royal-Polish and electoral-Saxon president of the collegiate consistory in Zeitz , prelate of the Naumburg monastery and manorial estate owner in Geussnitz (since 1753) , Zembschen (1756–1763) and Mülverstedt .

family

He came from the Thuringian noble family Hopffgarten and was married to Johanna Henrietta geb. Baroness von Seyfertitz (1714–1765). From this marriage u. a. the following three sons:

  • Christian Adolph von Hopffgarten (born June 13, 1751 in Zeitz),
  • Carl Siegismund (born September 25, 1748 in Zeitz) and
  • Friedrich Wilhelm.

His brothers were Friedrich Abraham von Hopffgarten and Christian Friedrich von Hopffgarten.
