Carl Gustav Föppel
Carl Gustav Föppel ( November 29, 1825 - May 1, 1884 in Dessau ) was a German opera singer ( baritone ).
Life
Föppel, son of the opera singer Heinrich Anton Föppel and the actress Friederike Schilling, worked at the Court Theater in Dresden from 1847 to 1849, from where he went to Dessau in 1853. There he had a long career as a baritone and was also appointed chamber singer.
