Carl Lintner

Carl Lintner (born February 3, 1828 ; † January 14, 1900 ) was a German brewing scientist , professor at the Agricultural Central School Weihenstephan and founder of the scientific station for brewery in Munich .

Originally trained as a pharmaceutical chemist , he came to Weihenstephan in 1863, where he began teaching beer brewing to students two years later. The following year he founded the magazine Bayerische Bierbrauer.
