Carlo Alighiero

Carlo Alighiero (actually Carlo Animali , born July 7, 1927 in Ostra ) is an Italian actor .

Life

Alighiero attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and interrupted a subsequent university course after receiving a scholarship for the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica . He then began his professional acting career as a theater actor, often alongside his wife Elena Cotta and became popular in the role of "Sergeant Howard" in the 1959-193 television series Giallo club , which was followed by similar formats. During his active career he played in numerous other television productions, including often comedies, but also original dramatic material. His cinema roles, which began in 1959, but had only about as many interpretations in ten years, were much rarer. Between 1969 and his last movie in 1976 he was present much more often, often in sinister roles. For the stage he was from 1972 with his own troupe and u. a. with Finalmente also worked as a director in 1995.

Alighiero also wrote some plays and was active as a voice actor .
