Carlo Fugazza

Carlo Fugazza (born November 4, 1951 in Milan ) is an Italian karate teacher (8th Dan ) and student of master Hiroshi Shirai .

Life

Fugazza began his karate training in 1968. After only one year he was awarded the black belt . In 1971 he was qualified to teach karate. In 1986 he was awarded the 6th Dan. Ten years later, in January 1996, his skills and sporting achievements were honored with the 7th Dan. On January 1st, 2012 followed by the 8th Dan.

  • 1973: 2nd place Kata and Kumite (team) at the World Championships in Tokyo
  • 1975: 2nd place Kata (individual and team) at the World Championships in Los Angeles
  • 1990: 1st place Kata (team) at the World Championships in Mexico City as a coach
