Carlos Alberto Clulow

Carlos Alberto Clulow (* 1907 or 1908 ; † 1969 ) was a Uruguayan diplomat and writer .

Life

Clulow, who grew up in Salto , was married and the father of Simone Clulow Lepretre . He worked mainly as a writer in the first half of the 20th century. In 1928 he published El oro yanqui en Latinoamérica . Two years later his novel La perdida Atlántida was published . Later he was also involved in the diplomatic service of his home country. In the 1950s he held the office of ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany at least until 1957. He was also the Uruguayan Ambassador to the United States from 1960 to 1963 . He was also the President-elect of the Consejo Interamericano Económico y Social from July 1, 1960 to June 30, 1961.
