Carlos Brito (* 1960 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian manager and the head of Anheuser-Busch InBev .

Life

Carlos Brito comes from Rio de Janeiro. He studied engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and economics at Stanford Business School . After completing his studies, he worked for the British company Shell Oil and the German company Daimler-Benz . In 1989 he found his way into the beer industry and switched to the Brazilian brewery company Brahma . In 1999 his employer merged with the Brazilian brewery Companhia Antarctica Paulista and the company AmBev was created . Following the successful acquisition of Anheuser-Busch he leads since 2008 as CEO , the company Anheuser-Busch InBev .

Brito went through a Banco Garantia scholarship program from Jorge Paulo Lemann , who is considered his mentor.
