Carlos Enciso

Carlos Fernando Enciso Christiansen (born August 23, 1967 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan politician .

Education and private matters

The path of his school education led through the Colegio Sagrado Corazón , where he took the humanistic Bachillerato . He then completed a basic course in law and social sciences and studied foreign relations at the Universidad de la República (UdelaR). This was followed by further courses at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga (UCUDAL) and elsewhere. Enciso is married to Maria Noel Crucci .

Political career

Born in Montevidean, he is a member of the Partido Nacional . After his election in this regard (in the elecciones Generales ) he was a member ( Edil ) of the departamental legislative level from November 1994 to May 2000 . From 2005 to 2010 he sat as a deputy for the department of Florida in the Cámara de Representantes . Here he was President of the Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries Commission between 2008 and 2009. In the parliamentary elections in 2009, he was confirmed as a representative of the people for a further legislative period. The local elections on May 9, 2010 meant the next step in his career for him, because there he was elected Intendente of Florida. His term of office lasts until 2015.
