Andreas Vollmer (born July 30, 1966 in Tübingen ) is a German volleyball coach.

Career

Andreas Vollmer was previously a coach in Germany at TV Rottenburg (1984–1990), at Bayern Lohhof (1990–91) and TSG Tübingen (1991–1996). From 1996 to 2002 he coached the women's volleyball team from Kanti Schaffhausen in Switzerland , from 2003 to 2006 the women from Volley Franches-Montagnes and from 2006 to 2011 again at Kanti Schaffhausen. In addition, he worked as a selection trainer with various regional teams of RVNO and with the Swiss women's national team. From 2011 to 2015 Vollmer was the head coach of the Bundesliga club 1. VC Wiesbaden . Then Vollmer moved to league rivals USC Münster . Since November 9, 2015, Vollmer has also been the assistant coach of the German women's national team . In 2017 Vollmer returned to Switzerland to Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen .

Private

Andreas Vollmer lives in Büsingen in the district of Constance near the border with the canton of Schaffhausen . He is married to the former national volleyball and beach volleyball player Jana Vollmer and has a daughter, Matilda.
