Carlos Fernández González

Carlos Fernández González (born September 29, 1966 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican industrial manager.

González studied engineering at Anahuac University . Since 1997 he has been CEO of Grupo Modelo . The Grupo Modelo began to grow from then on and became the seventh largest brewery group in the world with exports to more than 180 countries.

Fernandez is a member of various boards and various organizations in Mexico and abroad, including Banco Santander and Grupo Modelo. He founded the Academia Mexicana de la Comunicación , the Fundación Carolina (Mexico Chapter) and the Fundación Beca and headed the Consejo Consutivo del Agua and the Consejo de la Comunicación .
