Carlos Olivier

Carlos Raúl Fernández Olivier (short: Carlos Olivier ; born January 26, 1952 in Venezuela , † January 22, 2007 in Caracas , Venezuela) was a Venezuelan television actor and surgeon .

Life

Olivier was the son of Linda Olivier. He studied medicine at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and also attended a workshop for young actors on the television channel RCTV . This course was led by Hugo Ulive, Isaac Chocrón, Julio César Mármol, Humberto Colmenares, Román Chalbaud and Manuel Bermúdez. The fact that his mother was an actress made his own career easier. Olivier worked in many telenovelas of the RCTVs and Venevisións , including 1983 in the telenovela Leonela . He lived in the United States for five years , where he appeared in two episodes of the American television series Miami Vice . He later hosted the television program El Gran Evento con Carlos Olivier for the Hispanic channel Telemundo .

Olivier also recorded two records with producer Emilio Estefan . He died of a heart attack in Caracas. Since he was 18 years old, he also suffered from multiple sclerosis .
