Carlos Pavlidis

Charalambos "Carlos" Pavlidis (born August 20, 1942 , † June 14, 2004 in Paris ) was a French film and theater actor.

Life

Pavlidis was short and married to the Austrian dancer and choreographer Monika Mayer-Pavlidis, who was a good twenty years his junior. The Frenchman with Greek ancestors worked for many years as a circus artist, film actor and theater actor, including in Bochum with Peter Zadek . Film producer Werner Possardt described him as someone who knew how to entertain with many artistic tricks, but who also stood out for his noticeable tobacco and alcohol consumption. In the grotesque science fiction - home movie Xaver and his extraterrestrial friend he played the Loisl, one of the lead roles. He played one of the bigger roles in the television comedy La Belle et la toute petite bête .
