Carlos Diego Rodrigues Gesualdi (born September 30, 1963 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentinian writer living in Germany .

Life

In addition to his children's book Raros Peinados , a bestseller in Latin America , Gesualdi wrote over 50 stories that were published in school books and collections in five languages ​​in Europe and Latin America. He has also written articles for the series ¡España de arriba a abajo! of the Stuttgart butterfly publishing house .

He started writing stories at the age of 13, publishing his first stories at the age of 18, and later studied mathematics, ancient Greek, physics and philosophy. Meanwhile, he also trained as a primary school teacher. At the age of 34 he became a professor of medieval philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires. However, he found his great love in Europe and moved to Germany to live with his wife Andrea.

Gesualdi currently lives with his family in Brühl near the former Benden monastery , the ambience of which he shaped in some of his works.

In addition to his work as an author, he is currently working half-time as a teacher for philosophy, politics and German at the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Pulheim .
