biography

society

His sporting first division career began in the old Mexican Primera Fuerza at Real Club España , for which he can be shown to have been hunting goals from 1942. There he was under contract until the Españistas withdrew from the professional league introduced in 1943/44 at the end of the 1949/50 season. For the 1950/51 season, Septién moved within the Mexican capital to CF Atlante , before moving to the port city of Tampico a year later , where it can be proven that he worked for CD Tampico until at least 1954 .

National team

His debut in the Mexican national team was Septién on July 13, 1947 in a game against arch-rivals USA, which was won 5-0. He scored his first international goal four days later in his second outing against Cuba (3-1). His most successful international match was the 4-2 win over Panama on April 10, 1952, when he scored three goals. His last international match was on January 14, 1954 in a World Cup qualifier against the USA (3-1).

The highlights of his international career were his participation in the football world championships in 1950 and 1954 , although he was only used in one World Cup game (the 0: 4 against hosts Brazil at the 1950 World Cup).
