Carlos Victor Aramayo

Carlos Victor Aramayo (* 1889 in Paris ; † 1982 ) was one of the most important mining entrepreneurs of the first half of the 20th century and, alongside Simón I. Patiño and Moritz Hochschild, one of the three South American tin barons.

In 1925 he took over the management of the holding company Cie Aramayo des Mines en Bolivie in Geneva and worked on a diplomatic mission in various embassies in his home country, including as ambassador in London and Paris. In 1935 he became Bolivian Minister of Finance under President Sorzano .
