Carly Oates

Carly Alyn Oates (born November 28, 1984 in Granada Hills , California ) is an American actress and model .

Life

Oates began her acting career in the drama film Painted Desert in 1993 . A short time later, she had her first stage role as the daughter of an alcoholic in the play Peggy's Shadow . In 2009 she modeled herself in James Roddy's short film Sol, and made her first television appearance that year on the comedy series Twenty Something .

In 2011 she was in Bears Fonté's psychological thriller iCrime as tough Velouria in front of the camera and shortly thereafter, followed her first leading role as Regina Stevens in the biographical horror drama film Pretty Dead . This was followed by a guest appearance in the science fiction comedy series Guides, in the role of Koric.

Private

Oates has celiac disease. Since February 2009 she has also occasionally been in front of the camera as a model in Los Angeles . In addition to her modeling and acting career, she runs a non-profit Comfort Zone Camp for half-orphans . Carly Oates lives in Van Nuys .
