Carmen Muñoz is a Costa Rican politician from the Partido Acción Ciudadana .
Life
Muñoz studied history, philosophy and political economy at the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje in Costa Rica and at the Julio A. Mella University in Cuba . Muñoz was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica from May 1, 2010 to April 30, 2014 . Muñoz is a lesbian and lives in Alajuelita . Under President Luis Guillermo Solis she has been Deputy Minister of the Interior and the Police since May 2014.
