Carnegie Library

Carnegie Library, or Carnegie Library, is the name of libraries that the American steel tycoon and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie funded to give everyone access to a free public library. In total, he donated over $ 56 million. With this money, 2,509 libraries were built worldwide between 1883 and 1929.
