Carnoustie is a small town in Scotland with 11,394 inhabitants (as of 2011). It is located at the confluence of Lochty Burn and Carnoustie Bay in Council Area Angus . The 7th edition of the British Open in Carnoustie took place in the nearby Carnoustie Golf Links in 2007 .
