Angus South is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 2011 as one of ten constituencies in the electoral region of North East Scotland , which was redesigned and expanded from nine to ten constituencies as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011. Here, the constituency of Angus South was formed from areas of the former constituency Angus and parts of the former constituency North Tayside of the neighboring electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife . It includes areas of the Council Area Angus with the cities of Arbroath , Carnoustie and Kirriemuir . The constituency sends a representative.

The constituency extends over an area of ​​1298.7 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 72,452 people lived within its borders.
