Aberdeen Central is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of North East Scotland , which was redesigned and expanded to ten constituencies as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011. The borders of Aberdeen Central were also redrawn. It covers the downtown area of Aberdeen and sends one MP.

The constituency covers an area of ​​17.6 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 83,557 people lived within its borders.
