Carole Ann Campbell

Carole Ann Campbell (born March 27, 1944 in Sherman Oaks , Los Angeles , California - † March 6, 2010 in Laguna Woods , California) was an American actress who became known as a child star.

Life

Campbell played in her father's theater company, who ran an amateur theater. This initially led to two small appearances in late 1955 on the television series Willy and to a role in And Tomorrow I Will Cry . Walt Disney personally committed the eleven-year old for the role of Iola in the 14-part Hardy Boys -Fernseh- serial , which was filmed in June and July 1956th She was also cast in this role in the follow-up serial produced in 1957. After that, however, she was only seen (without credit) in the film Bernadine and an episode of the series 26 men .

Campbell graduated from high school in 1962 and married three years later. She never returned to the public.
