Carolin Degethoff (born May 9, 1992 in Wolfsburg ) is a former German soccer player who was in the top division of VfL Wolfsburg from 2007 to 2011 .

Career

Degethoff came to VfL from the youth of VfR Eintracht Nord Wolfsburg and was 15 years old in the squad of Wolfsburg's third team in the regional league. She made her first game for the Bundesliga team of VfL on September 7, 2008, the first day of the 2008/09 season against SG Essen-Schönebeck . This season two more appearances followed, as well as five more games in the following season , all as substitutes. Degethoff extended her contract in Wolfsburg for another year in the summer of 2010. After she was no longer used in the 2010/11 season , also due to a herniated disc at the beginning of the season , Degethoff left VfL.
