Carolin Schumski (born October 26, 1985 in Rostock ) is a former German soccer player .

Life

Schumski did not come to football until he was 14. Before that, she was more interested in karate and kickboxing and only played soccer on the side. From 1999 she played for PSV Rostock and two years later moved to FFV Neubrandenburg , with whom she was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2005. In December 2007 she left the association for personal reasons in order to concentrate more on her studies. In summer 2008 she moved to Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, where she made her Bundesliga debut on September 7, 2008 against Bayern Munich . She was German champion with Turbine, but only played two games. After the season she ended her career.

Private

Schumski studies social pedagogy at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Berlin . Her brother Georg Schumski plays for Malchower SV 90 in the Oberliga Nordost-Nord.
