The FFV Neubrandenburg ( full name : Frauenfußballverein Neubrandenburg) was a German women's football club. It was founded on January 17th, 2002. The first team last played in the Regionalliga Nordost .
history
Women's football has been played in Neubrandenburg since the mid-1970s. First at SV Nagema, after the reunification with the police sports club Neubrandenburg (PSV). Under the name PSV, the club made it to the Regionalliga Nordost in 2001. In order to create a new home for the further development of women's and girls' football, the FFV Neubrandenburg was founded on January 17th, 2002. On July 1, 2002, the girls and women of the PSV switched to the FFV. The 2003/04 season ended as the penultimate, but remained because of the introduction of the 2nd Bundesliga in the regional league. A season later, the team was surprisingly champions and made it to the second division. In 2007, the team was third from bottom in the relegation relegation against FC Erzgebirge Aue . After a 2-2 win in the first leg, a 1-0 win in the second leg in their own place helped them stay in the league. A year later you were less fortunate. As the penultimate team, the strongly rejuvenated team rose again to the regional league. For the 2009/10 season, the club joined 1. FC Neubrandenburg 04 .
