Caroline's Spine is an American rock band led by singer and composer Jimmy Newquist .
history
Caroline's Spine was founded in 1993 by Jimmy Newquist, who played all the instruments himself for the recordings of the debut album. Together with Mark Haugh, Jason Gilardi and Luis Moral, Newquist went on tour with Caroline's Spine for the first time as a multi-headed band. The band has been changed frequently, with Newquist remaining the only constant. By 1997, Caroline's Spine released four studio albums on the independent label ANZA Records. This was followed by the albums Monsoon (1997) and Attention Please (1999) on Hollywood Records , after which a return to independent labels took place.
In 1997 they were with the title Turned Blue , which was only included on the album Attention Please , on the soundtrack of the film American Werewolf in Paris . In 1999 they contributed the title song to the soundtrack of the film Varsity Blues with Varsity Blue .
The band's greatest success in the United States was the song Sullivan about the Sullivan brothers .
Caroline's Spine toured with Aerosmith , Kiss and Queensrÿche, among others . In Germany they played in 1997 with Rock am Ring .
