Hollywood Records is an American record label founded in 1989 and owned by the Walt Disney Company . Together with u. a. Buena Vista Records and Walt Disney Records, Hollywood Records is part of the Disney Music Group .
The distribution took place first through Elektra Records and from 1995 through Polygram , which was taken over in 1998 by Universal Music Group .
In 1991 the record company released the entire Queen catalog on CD for the first time on the North American market; the majority of the albums appeared with additional bonus tracks . Hollywood Records also released numerous soundtracks from Disney films. Also for the 2001 film Pootie Tang .
