Caroline Ducey
Caroline Ducey (actually Caroline Trousselard , * 1977 in Sainte-Adresse ) is a French film actress . In the opening and closing credits of some films, she is also referred to as Caroline Trousselard .
Life
From 1994 to 2006, Caroline Ducey starred in around 30 French cinema and television films.
She became internationally known in 1999 in the female lead in the film Romance XXX by director Catherine Breillat . This film caused a sensation for its sexual representations and sparked a public discussion about the boundary between erotic art and pornography. Among other things, Caroline Ducey performs fellatio in two different scenes of the film with her film partner Sagamore Stévenin - not just implied, but explicitly and “really” in front of the camera. However, she attaches importance to the fact that she did not actually have sexual intercourse with the porn star Rocco Siffredi , who can be seen in a supporting role , but that it was merely posed and indicated. Siffredi sharply criticized Caroline Ducey's lack of willingness to cooperate during the shooting:
“The woman did everything to turn me off. [...] from nine in the evening to three in the morning I persevered despite this bitch. [...] I sent her to the devil and wanted to leave the studio. "
According to her own information, working on Romance XXX was so strenuous for Caroline Ducey, both physically and mentally, that she lost four kilograms of body weight during the filming and once burst into tears on the set .
Besides Romance XXX , the films Trop de bonheur (1994) under the German title Glück , Petit Ben (2000, TV film) under the German title Gangster und Sohn and Carrément à l'Ouest (2001) under the German title I did not see you asked for a love story .
