Sagamore Stévenin (born June 9, 1974 in Paris ) is a French actor . He is also referred to as Thomas Stévenin in the opening and closing credits of some films .

His father is the actor Jean-François Stévenin . His brother Louis-Robinson Stévenin and his sister Salomé Stévenin are also active in the acting .

Sagamore Stévenin began his career as a child actor in the early 80s . From then until 2006 he appeared in around 25 French cinema and television films.

He became internationally known in 1999 in the male lead in the film Romance XXX by director Catherine Breillat . This film caused a sensation for its sexual representations and sparked a public discussion about the boundary between erotic art and pornography. Among other things, his film partner Caroline Ducey performs in two different scenes of the film with Stévenin Fellatio - not just implied, but explicitly and “really” in front of the camera.

Apart from Romance XXX , only a few films with Stévenin were shown in German-speaking countries. This included the feature film Cocu magnifique (1999) under the German title You belong to me , in which Hardy Krüger jr. participated.

Stévenin played the lead role in the French feature film Michel Vaillant . The film is based on the Michel Vaillant comics by Belgian Jean Graton and has only been released on DVD in Germany. It has since been broadcast on German television under the title Michel Vaillant - Every Victory Has Its Prize .

In January 2005, the Franco-German TV channel ARTE broadcast the TV film La Bête du Gévaudan (2003) under the German title Die Bestie der alten Berge . In this film, which is about the historical event of the " Beast of Gévaudan ", Sagamore Stévenin appeared for the first time together with his father Jean-François Stévenin in front of the camera.

From February to May 2006, Sagamore Stévenin was the actor in the play Orange mécanique , the French stage version of the novel A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess , on the theater stage in Paris.
