description
The building is located in the middle of a spacious property in the southeast of Larbert. It dates from 1897 and was built to a design by the eminent architect John James Burnet . A previous building had existed at the site since the 18th century, which was partially integrated into the new building. The neo-Georgian house surrounds a small courtyard. The facades are plastered with Harl with separate building openings. The roof is covered with modern, red tiles. The almost symmetrical front is worked with pillars and cornices . The interior is decorated with elaborate woodwork and marble floors. The various marble fireplaces and the Art Nouveau windows are worth mentioning .
