Carsten-Peter Brodersen

Carsten-Peter Brodersen (born July 18, 1957 in Husum ) is a German politician ( FDP ). In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2009 , he entered the state parliament via the state list.

Brodersen completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant from 1974 to 1976. After completing his training, he did his military service in the navy and continued training as a farmer, which he finished in 1979. After that he was manager of a farm until 1981, while at the same time he attended an agricultural college. He then completed his advanced training as a master craftsman and has also been an independent farmer since then.

Brodersen was a community representative for several years. Since 2003 he has been the district chairman of the FDP and since 2008 also the parliamentary group leader of the FDP in the Schleswig-Flensburg district assembly. He heads the FDP regional committee for agricultural policy. In the state elections in 2009 he entered the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein via the state list. There he was a member of the Environment and Agriculture Committee as well as the North Schleswig and Friesen committees. In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2012 , he lost his mandate.
