Carteyrade
The Carteyrade was a French square measure and was valid in the regions around Montpellier and Cette , today's Sète . The measure can be seen as the sowing measure . It should be possible to cultivate the area with 1 ½ Metzen (Viennese) seeds.
- 1 Carteyrade = 800 square fathoms (Wiener = 3.597 m²) = 2877.6 square meters
- 2 Carteyrade = 1 yoke (Wiener) = about 5,754,642 square meters
- 1 Carteyrade = 2 Septerées = 4 Cartons = 75 Dexteres
