The Casa de los Vázquez is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The building, also known as Casa del Virrey , was built between 1820 and 1830 and is located in Ciudad Vieja at Calle Piedras 560-562, corner with Calle Ituzaingó 1542-1544 . Information about the architect of the building is not available. While it was originally designed as a residential building, it now houses both apartments and business premises. The twelve-meter-high, two-story Casa de los Vázquez has an area of ​​997 m². In the years 1990 to 1992 restoration work took place under the direction of the architect Nelson Inda and the Uruguayan Ministry of Transport and Construction (Ministerio de Transporte y Obras Públicas) .

Since 1975 the building has been classified as the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
