The Casa de los Ximénez is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The building, which was built between 1817 and 1824, is located in Ciudad Vieja on Rambla 25 de Agosto 1825 580, corner of Juan Carlos Gómez. Information about the architect of the building, which was originally designed as a residential building, is not available. It now houses the Museo Histórico Nacional . In 1971 restoration work took place under the direction of the architects R. Fusco Villa and the Uruguayan Ministry of Construction , in which the architects R. Lerena Acevedo, F. Pitaluga and J. Pivel Devoto also acted as advisors.

Since 1975 the building has been classified as the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
