The Casanovas Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Касановас wrach Kassanowas ) is a 325 m high ice dome on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the John Paul II Peninsula, it rises 3.1 km west of Snow Peak and 9.3 km northeast of Rotch Dome .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the Spanish mountain guide Àlex Simón i Casanovas, who held a leading position on the Juan Carlos I station between 2002 and 2006 on the first ascent of the ice dome was involved.
