The Cascades de Karfiguéla (also Cascades de Banfora ) are waterfalls in the West African state of Burkina Faso .

Here the Comoé river falls from the sandstone cliffs of the Chaîne de Banfora into the plain. They are located in the Cascades region , which gives the falls its name, and the Comoé province in the area of the town of Banfora . From there it is about twelve kilometers in a westerly direction to the cascades near the village of Karfiguéla, which has 890 inhabitants. The path leads through sugar cane fields and an avenue of old mango and kapok trees .
The réserve des cascades de Banfora nature reserve was established to protect flora and fauna .
The waterfalls are one of the major tourist destinations in Burkina Faso .
