Caspar Andreas from Voss

Caspar Andreas von Voss (* around 1600 ; † 23 August 1664 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Hildesheim and Münster .

Life

Caspar Andreas von Voss came from the Westphalian noble family von Voss . He was the son of Johann von Voss zu Beesten and his wife Johanna Valke. On April 22nd, 1628 he was ordained a subdeacon in Hildesheim . On October 24, 1636, after the death of Canon Bernhard von Beverförde, it was presented to the cathedral priest and took possession of it on November 9, 1636. He was emancipated on November 24, 1639 after submitting a certificate from the University of Bourges . In 1661 he also received a cathedral canonical in Münster . He remained in this office until his death.
