Caspar Mathias Spoo
Caspar Mathias Spoo (born January 7, 1837 in Echternach , † March 17, 1914 in Esch-sur-Alzette ) was a Luxembourg industrialist and politician.
From 1896 until his death in 1914, he was a member of the Chambre des Députés and campaigned for members to be allowed to give their speeches in Luxembourgish . However, this was only achieved after the end of World War II.
Together with André Duchscher , he founded the Société Duchscher Frères et Spoo in Wecker .
In Esch-sur-Alzette he founded the Spoo & Co. machine factory .
