Caspar von Schedelich (* in the 16th century; † 1570 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Caspar von Schedelich came from the Westphalian castle man family Schedelich , who had their seat in the manor Osthoff for six generations until they died out in the male line. His brother Serries , the last male representative of the Schedelichs, was killed in a tragic hunting accident in 1604. For a long time it provided the castle men in Hausdülmen . Caspar was the son of Jaspar von Schedelich zu Osthoff and his wife Katharina von Heiden zu Hagenbeck. On October 14, 1565, he presented a certificate from the University of Paris and received a Münster cathedral praise in the same year . Caspar remained in possession of the benefice until 1566.
