Castaway Cay , also known as Gorda Cay , is an island in the Bahamas . She was acquired and remodeled by Disney Cruise Line .
The island is about 4.0 km². It is located 13.5 km west of the southern part of Great Abaco Island and also belongs to the Abaco Islands . Administratively, Castaway Island is part of the South Abaco District .
