Joya runs was a TV series on TV3 and Sat.1 . In the Swiss dating show developed and produced by FaroTV and its founder Björn Hering , singles had to find a travel partner within a given period and spend a holiday week with this person at a dream destination.

In 2002, Joya rennt was awarded the e-Rose award for “best interactive TV show” at the Rose d'Or Festival.

The TV series started in 2001 on the Swiss private broadcaster TV3 and after its closure was first taken over by the TeleNewsCombi channels and then in autumn 2003 by Sat.1 for the Swiss window. For marketing reasons, the program was divided into the "Joya rennt" and "Joya travels" containers. In the latter, scenes from the resort and interviews about getting to know each other were shown. From 2005 clubbing also took place under the label “Joya rennt”. The year before, the “Joya-Rennt-Sat1-Special” event was held on June 25th on the occasion of the Open Air 2004 in Frauenfeld. After seven years of running, the series was discontinued in late 2008 after 9 seasons. According to the production company FaroTV , a new edition is being worked on.

The presenter and producer Björn Hering was looking for his successors, the presenters Andrea Jansen ( farmer, single, looking for ... , MusicStar ) and Sheril Leemann, the two women started their TV careers with "Joya rennt" via public casting.
