It was published in Catalonia from 1918 to 1926.

Was established Catalana 1918 by Francesc Matheu i Fornells (1851-1938) in Barcelona, she appeared weekly until 1921, after two weekly edition. The Catalana also published articles by Marià Aguiló , Emili Vilanova i March , Jacint Verdaguer and Miquel Costa i Llobera , which led to the movement for the revival of the Catalan language and culture in the 19th century , the so-called Renaixença , counted.
