Catherine Byrne

Catherine Byrne (born February 26, 1956 in Bluebell) is an Irish politician and has been a member of the Dáil Éireann since 2007 .

Byrne was born in Bluebell in 1956 and grew up in Inchicore . In 1999, she was first in the City Council of Dublin ( Dublin City Council selected) and was successfully re-elected of 2004. In 2005 she succeeded Michael Conaghan as Lord Mayor of Dublin and held the office from June 2005 to June 2006. May 2007 Byrne was elected for the Fine Gael in the 30th Dáil Éireann.

Byrne is married with 5 children.
