Catherine Lewis (life dates not known) is a Canadian singer (soprano).

Live and act

Lewis studied singing with Frances James at the University of Victoria and continued her education in Paris. On her return to Canada, she took part in the study program at The Banff Center for the Arts , where she worked with Mary Morrison , Robert Aitken , Toru Takemitsu , George Crumb , Jean Piché and George Coates . She sang world premieres of works by Murray Adaskin , Rudolf Komorous ', Owen Underhills , Linda Catlin Smith ', Christopher Butterfields , Kirk Elliotts , Rodney Sharmans , Sylvia Rickards and Henry Beckers . Lewis teaches singing at the University of Victoria.
