Catherine Waynick

Catherine Waynick (born November 13, 1948 ) is an American bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America .

Life

Waynick studied Anglican theology at Central Michigan University , Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit and Madonna College, and St. John Provincial Seminary in Plymouth , Massachusetts . On June 7, 1997, she was ordained bishop by Arthur Benjamin Williams , Edward Witker Jones and Harry Coleman McGehee , and she was bishop of the Anglican diocese of Indianapolis until April 2017 . In October 2017 she was elected Provisional Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan for a two-year term .

She is married and has two kids.
