Catrin Lorch

Catrin Lorch (* 1965 in Frankfurt am Main) is a German art historian and art critic for the Süddeutsche Zeitung .

After an editorial traineeship at Offenbach-Post , she studied art history , journalism , German and urban planning in Frankfurt, New York and Bonn. She was the curator and director of the Videonale in Bonn. In 2006 she received the Art Cologne art criticism award . Since 2009 she has been responsible for contemporary art at the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

She is the mother of three daughters.
